All you need is a library card and one of Overdrive's suite of apps to download the books you want. Not to mention that a single device is easier to carry with you on vacation than multiple books. I primarily read in bed with the lights off in order to wind down for sleep, and I hate using those itty bitty book lights. I know some people don't want to let go of the paper books, which is fine, but I far prefer the customization options for reading on my iPad. I decided years ago that I preferred the advantages of digital reading over that beloved tactile sensation of actual books.
