The Elder Scrolls Online is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. It's at least worth keeping open in a tab to return to over the course of a few trips into the adventure, even for players outside of the Australia and New Zealand region. However, for fans with a little time on their hands, it can be a fun way dive back into the series for a short time. This little adventure on its own is really just a small string of references to the familiar gameplay loops and encounters from previous Elder Scrolls titles. Of course, players can also just log into the consistently updated MMO, or check out some new questline mods for the developer's previous work to scratch that itch. Even without the promise of prize packs for the MMO, this could still be the piece of series content that some players need to hold off until news of the upcoming Elder Scrolls 6 finally shows players what Bethesda has planned for the follow-up to Skyrim. That being said, just because the prize at the end isn't available to all players, the choose your own adventure can still be played for fans of the genre and Bethesda's previous history with Elder Scrolls Online's narratives. However, these prizes will only be available to players that are in the Australia and New Zealand regions, meaning that worldwide players won't be rewarded for reaching the end of the adventure. Making it all the way through the adventure between December 5th and January 1st will then allow players to enter in for the prize draw for digital prize packs for the connected MMO. The new tie-in event takes Elder Scrolls Online players through Markarth in a choose your own adventure styled text game through a number of Twitter threads that chronicle the entire quest. While Elder Scrolls Online is available on Xbox and PlayStation, the two are separate from those playing on PC. This makes for a larger player base to interact and play with. You can choose to play the game on PC or PlayStation and it will all be the same player base. Over on the Bethesda ANZ Twitter account, the official account for outreach towards fans in Australia and New Zealand, the developer has begun to invite players to participate in a chance to enter for The Elder Scrolls Online prize packs. When it comes to cross-platform play, Final Fantasy XIV wins hands down. This new adventure even comes with a chance for rewards for a select group of players, which should be larger than ever as this week's free-to-play access for Elder Scrolls Online brings a host of new players to the game. P>While players wait anxiously for any Elder Scrolls 6 updates leading up to some hopeful announcements at The Game Awards, Bethesda has released a new adventure to go alongside The Elder Scrolls Online.
